The Partisans is a story set on the stage of a world that never was, but has been and is. It is about a generation of young people born without hope on a planet doomed to consume itself in the fires of its own dynamic hatreds. Taanach of Dhayne is a man of war and a dreamer of peace a wonderful abnormality in a world gone mad with violence perpetuated by generations of murderous ancestors. But they are only a few against the well-organized power of many thousands, an obstacle that seems impossible to overcome. The rebellion is naturally met with virulent resistance from the deeply entrenched powers that be, and thus the stage is set for conflict on an unprecedented scale.
